Issa Names Jamie O'Hare Creative Director

JAMIE O'HARE has been named as Issa creative director following the departure of Blue Farrier in October. O'Hare has been head of design at the British label since 2013 and will present his first collection during London Fashion Week in February.
"Jamie has a great understanding of the Issa brand values, and is dedicated to its evolution," Issa chairwoman Camilla Al Fayed said today. "I am delighted to announce his appointment as creative director and feel huge excitement about the future."
"It is an honour to be leading such a talented design team," O'Hare added. "We are all passionate about further developing the Issa brand."

The designer - a Royal College of Art graduate - worked at MaxMara before spending seven years at Chloé, eventually taking charge of the See By Chloé collection. He then worked at Roberto Cavalli, before returning to London to take the helm of the Issa design studio under Farrier - a former Chloé colleague.
